7th December 2009 ...

Just a very quick hello and an update to say that my gorgeous baby girl has arrived safely! Jaymi Kerr-Watt arrived 3 weeks early by emergency c-section and weighed a tiny li'l cutesy 6lb 5oz.

Life sure is a beautiful place at the moment ...

I don't have plans to come down from Cloud 9 any time soon to be honest ... I'm more than happy blogging from up here! :-)

I hope you're well and looking forward to Christmas (and with any luck, you'll be way more organised that I am) although at least I have an excuse for not being on top of things this year, as a certain little miss and I are fare too busy getting to know each other :-)

I'll try to write more before Christmas but, in case I don't manage to, I just want to say that I hope you have a wonderful time over the festive period and thanks so much for all your support during 2009 ...

Hey there! Howz things?

All good with me I'm pleased to say ... that's me officially 6 months pregnant (well 6 months, 1 week and 4 days, but who's counting eh?!)

Still been having a rough ride with the ol' symptoms but trying to grin and bear as best I can ... at least I get the little bundle at the end to reaffirm it was all worthwhile! (despite everyone determined to tell us about the negatives only!!) Ha ha, why do people do that?! Sooo many people would rather tell us about the dirty nappies, the hourly night feeds, the no sleep and how we have no idea what we're in for. I do try to assure those with such "words of wisdom" that it took me to 31 years of age before finally deciding to start a family ... purely because, believe me, we know EXACTLY what's in store! :-) We just laugh it all off as we have no doubt the good will outweight the more challenging moments!

Work-wise, I had a quiet few months due to the extreme sickness and had to decline quite a few projects, but things are back on track again. I'm really excited about hosting The Hour on STV from Monday 10th August which I have no doubt is going to be great fun. Full details are on the LATEST NEWS page.

My hubby and I just got back from New York and LA last week. We had an absolute ball. A combination of lots of relaxation mixed in with lots of baby shopping (I couldn't resisit) And with only 14 weeks to go before our little princess makes her debut into the world, I guess I'd better turn my attentions to the nursery decor now that I'm back to the UK (60 Minute Makeover?? More like 60 DAY makeover! Bring it on!)

Just another quick hello!

I really need to start by saying a MASSIVE thank you to the countless people who have taken the time to write to me since my 60 Minute Makeover shows have started to air. Your kind words and support really do blow me away - and a big welcome to all my newbie first time emailers too! :-)

And on the interiors theme, I'm particularly excited about demonstrating my design skills in giving our baby's nursery the WOW factor! We find out this coming Monday (15th June) if we're having a boy or girl so I can really get my head down after then and work on some themes and designs (... I already have some ideas ticking away!)

Well that's me four and a half months pregnant now. Still in my regular clothes (thankfully) as I'm certainly NOT impressed by what maternity departments are offering let me tell you! I'm determined to stay glam in pregnancy (no pressure!) so I guess I'm going to be faced with an ongoing challenge of outfit finding! I'm off to New York and Los Angeles in 5 weeks time so I'm scouring stores online for cute li'l numbers! I'm just so glad the current styles seem to be "fabric aplenty" ... makes for an easier holiday wardrobe for me, without having to venture to the dreaded maternity rails! If only I could design my own range!! I know what flatters a curvy woman and, in pregnancy, some extra flattering is what we need!

PS - I will be announcing some exciting work news in the coming weeks (just tying up some loose ends) ... so watch this space! And in the meantime, enjoy the rest of June ... Michelle -x-

Just touching base to say a quick hello ... my very first blog on my new-look website!

Have you read my Latest News page? Have you spotted that I'm going to be a Mum for the first time?! Paul and I are absolutely delighted! I'm only 13 weeks, so there's a longgggg way to go!

I've been extremely ill so it's been a difficult couple of months getting through the early pregnancy symptoms, to say the least (all for the greater good though so I'm doing my best to stay positive ... you know me ... always smiling!)

I just hope my symptoms lift for July ... for my long awaited holiday! (priorities eh?) Oh I deserve a break after the past number of weeks, that's for sure!

I'm really excited about my first 60 Minute Makeover shows coming to air. I've been given Tue 26th May as the first show's transmission date ... I hope you can tune in! Thanks so much for all the emails of support regarding the various press articles that have been published lately and also for asking about the shows etc.

Well, I'll sign off for now ... more sleep required! I'm sleeping round the clock at the moment (yes, even more than usual!)
