Michelle is an extremely bubbly Scottish TV presenter, full of warmth and charm. Despite being fresh into the industry, already she has well over 1,500 hours of both live and pre-recorded television under her belt.
Talking of belts (!) her Dad is former world boxing champion, Jim Watt, now Sky Sports boxing commentator.
Michelle has just recently finished filming a 26-part property series for Sky where she filmed on-location in Florida, Dominican Republic and Cyprus.
Prior to that, her 10-week entertainment series for STV ‘Club Cupid’ was a ratings hit, some weeks being 4 and 5 points above the network!
But her big news is that she hosted this year’s New Year show on Scotland’s ITV, live from Edinburgh Castle. The gig of the year so she was honoured to have been asked!
This, together with her other work for ITV2, STV, BBC and the Royal Television Society has allowed for a dynamic showreel, demonstrating Michelle’s relaxed but informative presenting style.
She has a love for all things stylish - in particular, interior design. As a trained Interior Designer, she spends lots of her spare time working on property projects in both London and Scotland. And the design flair doesn’t stop there … she could happily talk with confidence on fashion, skincare, self-grooming and healthy living.
Michelle loves cars and driving. Her husband has worked in the motoring industry for 15 years so Michelle has owned, or at least test driven, countless cars ... From Mini to Mercedes, Renault to Rolls Royce! The list literally goes on and on ...
And with her sporting connections, Michelle spent two and a half years in sports management, working alongside Stephen Hendry, Dennis Taylor, Kenny Dalglish and many more! This was Michelle’s first taste of working in the media but little did she know then, there was a lot more media work to come!
A genuine on-screen warmth is not something you can simply learn. It’s either there, or it’s not. This, together with her down to earth presenting style ensures Michelle quickly bonds with viewers and puts them at ease in their very own living room!
